About the Role
Title: Assessor/IQA
Salary: £32,000 + Bonus
Location: Chester/Hybrid
As we expand, we are seeking an experienced IQA/Assessor to join our dynamic team in the Training Centre, supporting learners in achieving qualifications and apprenticeships up to and including Level 5. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a significant impact on the development of learners in key sectors.

Key Responsibilities
* Support, train and guide learners through their qualification journey
* Conduct thorough assessments and provide constructive, timely feedback
* Plan and deliver engaging training sessions and workshops
* Examine learners’ portfolios of evidence with attention to detail
* Internal quality assurance of portfolios to maintain high standards
* Provide meaningful feedback to assessors to support their development
* Collaborate and share best practices with fellow assessors
* Respond promptly to requests for student information and reports
* Work collaboratively with and support the wider Greenhouse Team

Essential Requirements
* Proven competence in one or more of the assessment fields
* Level 3 CAVA/TAQA/A1 qualification or equivalent
* Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft applications
* GCSE English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
* Excellent communication skills with an approachable manner
* Strong organisational abilities with effective time management
* Decision-making capability under pressure
* Adaptability and flexibility in approach
* A compassionate and fair attitude toward learner development
