Cheslyn Hay Primary Academy are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team, providing tailored support to a pupil in Upper Key Stage 2 (UKS2) with autism and cognition and learning difficulties. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with autism and cognition and learning difficulties in UKS2.
* Assist with the implementation of a Passport for Learning (IEP).
* Adapt classroom activities and resources to meet the pupil's needs.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCo, and external professionals.
* Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development.

We are looking for someone who:
* Experience working with children with autism and/or learning difficulties (desirable).
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
