Corporate Business Development Manager - Total Waste Management Solutions
Location: National
* Sat within the Corporate Division

* Specializing in recycling and renewable energy creation
The Role:
The successful candidate will manage and develop a pipeline of new business opportunities worth millions of pounds with national multisite organizations in both the public and private sectors, such as education, hospitals, hotel chains, and retail. Responsibilities include managing daily activities, planning journeys, setting up business meetings, and driving sales through high levels of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively seek new business nationally to meet targets
* Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets
* Report calls, leads, quotes, and contract activity via CRM
* Produce and present weekly, monthly, quarterly performance reports
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including depot managers and operations teams, to implement sales initiatives
* Serve as the primary interface for target customers
* Present to board-level audiences
* Work with tenders and bids teams on proposal submissions
* Handle sales prospecting and pricing negotiations

Candidate Criteria:
* Corporate sales experience selling high-value, complex services
* Ideally, a background in waste management or facilities management
* Experience selling at head office level to decision-makers
* Sold deals valued between £500,000 and over £1 million
* Experience in consultative sales, including writing bids and tenders
* Proven track record in new business sales
Benefits:
* Basic salary £50,000-£60,000
* OTE £75,000-£85,000 (uncapped commission)
