Reed Practice are delighted to partner with a long-established and well-respected Suffolk firm of chartered accountants to recruit for a brand-new position: Junior Bookkeeper / Trainee Accountant.

** About the Opportunity **
Based in their Suffolk office, approx 20 mins from Sudbury, this newly created role—developed due to ongoing business growth—is a fantastic opportunity for a budding accountant looking to progress their career in practice.
Initially, your responsibilities will focus on bookkeeping, with the opportunity to develop and eventually support on year-end accounts for smaller self-employed clients as your confidence grows.
> What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who can join the team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will:
* Have 6–12 months’ experience in a bookkeeping or junior accounting role
* Be studying AAT Level 2 as a minimum, with ambition to continue and qualify
* Have experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
* Ideally have gained experience within an accountancy practice (although strong industry candidates with a desire to move into practice will also be considered)
