Finance Manager

We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the financial management of one of our client’s UK divisions. This role involves working closely with the wider Finance team as well as a hands -on approach needed. The successful candidate will work closely with finance colleagues in the UK and Germany and report through a commercial hierarchy.
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Fulfil comprehensive financial management roles for two UK entities with support from 1.0 FTE.
2. Handle credit control functions including chasing non-payment, providing copy invoices, arranging repayment schedules, and engaging in debt recovery.
3. Support evaluation requests from customers/suppliers and coordinate fleet vehicles for the business.
4. Enter purchase requisitions as needed and support the counterparty credit process including order release.
5. Conduct daily checks, reconciliations, and postings to the general ledger.
6. Run reports and provide insights for daily, weekly, and monthly key metrics.
7. Complete monthly payroll postings, pension reconciliations, and support month-end processes in SAP, COPA, Allocations, etc.
8. Produce financial analyses as needed, particularly for capital investments and pricing decisions.
