About the role
As Finance Manager for Head Office and Procurement, you will play a key role in delivering our Save to Invest plan and shaping the People and Finance Transformation strategy. You will provide strategic insight and analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks, ensuring we achieve or exceed savings targets. You will develop robust business cases for initiatives such as workforce of the future and digital colleague experience, leveraging financial modelling to prioritise value-add investments. Building strong stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively will be essential as you influence outcomes and manage complex conversations. You will also ensure rigorous control and compliance for Head Office activities, safeguarding assets and maintaining reporting integrity. In addition, you will have the opportunity to lead ad-hoc projects across Procurement and Channels Finance, making a tangible impact on our transformation journey.
You will be responsible for
* Providing big picture thinking through insight & analysis to assist in identifying and addressing key opportunities and risks to meeting or exceeding planned savings targets.
* Supporting the People and Finance Leadership teams in their delivery of savings targets and management of their cost base.
* Partnering with various senior stakeholders to develop robust business cases.
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with a broad stakeholder base.
* Working closely with the FP&A team and Technology team to ensure integrity of financial reporting and forecasting.
* Adding value – this role is well placed to identify opportunities and drive actions that deliver these opportunities through insightful analysis.
You will need
* An accountancy qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
* Proven ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders using excellent communication skills.
* Experience in managing expectations and prioritizing effectively across diverse stakeholders.
* Confidence to challenge experienced stakeholders constructively.
* Strong team player, as transformation programs impact multiple cost lines and require cross-functional cooperation.
