Interim HR Generalist
£400 per day + travel expenses – Outside IR35
3–6 months
South Wales – commutable from Cardiff, Bristol and Bath
A fast‑growing consumer brand is undergoing significant organisational transformation, including the rollout of a new People Plan and a wider HR transformation programme. As Interim HR Generalist, you will provide vital support to the Group HR Director and Head of HR Operations during this period of change.
This role will span a broad range of generalist activities, including supporting new systems implementation and updating policies and processes. As the organisation is yet to introduce its first HRIS, some work will still be manual and transactional, so you’ll need to be comfortable operating across both strategic and hands‑on tasks.
You will play a key role in driving the digitalisation of HR, supporting rollouts, communications and line‑manager training—ensuring leaders know how to access HR support and confidently manage day‑to‑day people matters.
Working four days a week on‑site, you’ll thrive in a fast‑paced environment and help the small HR team deliver multiple process‑improvement projects. You will also support onboarding of new starters, handle ad‑hoc employee queries, and strengthen the relationship between HR and the wider business.
