This role will be part of Kimberly-Clark's International Family Care and Professional (IFP) business—an organization rooted in purpose and innovation that has built a legacy with global impact. As Kimberly-Clark forms a strategic partnership with Suzano to create a world-class international tissue and professional products company, this role is proposed to transfer to the new venture once the transaction closes, anticipated in mid-2026, subject to consultation and other applicable legal requirements. Position Summary
The Head of Corporate Applications & IT Program Leader SAP – IFP (Head of Corporate Applications) will lead the global strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications supporting HR, Finance, Legal, and ERP functions. This role ensures alignment with business objectives, drives digital transformation, and delivers scalable, secure, and efficient solutions across the enterprise.
In addition, this role would be the responsible for the overall IT delivery of the IFP SAP S/4 RISE Implementation program a global transformation initiative with a 24-36 month duration which would look to replace or update the core digital systems (SAP s/4, HFM, Blackline, Anaplan etc.) and transform how IFP operates across our business units and regions.
The Head of Corporate Applications will lead the end-to-end delivery of a global SAP S/4RISE transformation programme, aligning enterprise technology with strategic business goals. This role is pivotal in modernizing legacy systems, enabling digital capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence across HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement functions.
The Head of Corporate Applications reports to the CIO, IFP and leads a team of direct reports including: ERP Program Managers, Solution Architects, Functional Leads, PMO Coordinators.
Role & Responsibilities
The Head of Corporate Applications will:
Strategic Leadership
1. Define and execute the global applications strategy for HR, Finance, Supply Chain and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday).
2. Partner with executive stakeholders (CHRO, CFO, COO) to align technology with business goals.
3. Lead global transformation programs including ERP modernization, cloud migration, and process automation.
4. Serve as the IT owner for ERP systems, collaborating with Infrastructure teams for SAP Security, Basis, and Hosting support.
5. Responsible for ensuring IT controls are in place and all critical SOX tools are audit compliant in partnership with CISO & GRC.
6. Owner of Strategic Vendor Relationships with SAP, Workday and key AMS and Integration partners etc.
7. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, agents, blockchain platforms) that enable business strategic priorities.
8. Ensure cost efficiency is managed against service, operational stability and audit & SOX risk across the most critical “core” digital systems to run a $3.3Bn global business across 70 countries with 22 plants.
9. Co-lead the global S/4 Transformation program with Business Program Leader and be accountable for all aspects of the IT delivery of a global S/4 transformation being deployed across the business units that IFP operates in.
10. Accountable for the Systems Delivery Partnership and all steps from Project Mobilization, Blueprint, localization, build, test and deployment.
Program & Portfolio Management
11. Technology leader for global enterprise applications for HR, Legal, and Finance/GBS: 280+ enterprise applications
12. Oversee the global applications portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and business value realization.
13. Lead Governance of major programs including ERP transformation program and upgrades, and integrations across regions.
14. Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track application health and user satisfaction.
15. Create and agree business case for ERP Transformation program with IFP Exec Leadership and External JV Board (Suzano, Kimberly Clark) and track value realisation against plan.
Team & Vendor Leadership
16. Lead a global team of 20+ internal application managers, architects, and analysts.
17. Manage strategic vendor relationships of IT Service providers and system integrators of 100+ FTE contingent labor.
18. Drive a high-performance culture focused on innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
19. Lead a matrix IT team of internal and external FTE in the delivery of the SAP Transformation program.
20. Accountable for the appointment and performance of critical systems integration partners for the delivery of the transformation program.
Governance & Compliance
21. Joint accountability with Business Program leader for Program Governance and reporting into IFP’s Executive Leadership and external JV Board (Suzano, Kimberly Clark).
22. Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
23. Implement robust application lifecycle management, change control, and security practices.
Technical Oversight
24. Guide architectural decisions and platform design.
25. Ensure integration with legacy systems and third-party applications.
26. Promote DevSecOps, Agile delivery, and data-driven decision-making
Professional Skills & Qualifications
The Head of Corporate Applications will possess/be:
27. Extensive IT experience in large organizations / enterprise applications, with at least 5 years in a global leadership role and a least 5 years in global ERP programme delivery.
28. Experience in consumer goods, retail, or FMCG sectors preferred.
29. Data-driven decision-making.
30. Leadership Development and Talent Management.
31. Demonstrated experience leading SAP S/4HANA transformations in complex, multinational environments.
32. Proven track record of leading large-scale ERP and corporate systems transformations.
33. Deep expertise in platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, Workday, Coupa, or similar.
34. Experience managing global teams and working in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
35. Exceptional ability to build cross-functional relationships with Senior Leaders and diverse teams.
36. Strategic business partner & consulting skills supporting ELT members .
37. Proven track record of creating and delivering technology strategies for business teams .
38. Strong understanding of finance, legal, HR, and procurement processes and experience with IT cost and operational efficiency efforts .
39. Effective communicator with a proven ability to inspire a global technology team and collaborate across business functions
40. Experience on working with SOX compliant systems and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act as it relates to systems and data.
41. Experience of working with external and internal auditors on system and process audits.
42. Bachelor’s Degree in the field of information technology, engineering, computer science and/or business administration (required) and an MBA preferred.
