Join our dedicated pharmacy team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and play a vital role in supporting the safe provision of medicines within a hospital aseptic services environment.
About the Role
The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE) is a large teaching hospital with an established reputation for offering best practices across a wide variety of specialist services.
We are seeking to recruit a Pharmacy Support Worker (PSW) to join our well-established pharmacy team to support in the delivery of excellent hospital pharmacy aseptic services. Our team consists of pharmacy technicians, trainee pharmacy technicians, and PSWs. We are a friendly team committed to maintaining the safe provision of medicines to the RIE site. PSWs are key members of the service delivery.
We will provide education and training during which you will learn about the clean room environment and the many procedures necessary to maintain high standards of cleanliness and support roles in an aseptic unit.

About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Worker with a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* National 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
* A diligent, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
* An eagerness to learn about clean room environments and aseptic procedures.
* Prior experience within pharmacy services or stock management (beneficial but not essential).
* A willingness to complete an SCQF Level 6 unit as part of your development.
