Job Description
3. Maintain and update accurate financial records and ledgers.
4. Reconcile accounts and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
5. Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
6. Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
7. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
8. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
9. Support audits by preparing required documentation and reports.
10. Provide assistance to the finance team as required in the insurance sector.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper must have:
11. Proven bookkeeping experience
12. Strong accounting principles knowledge
13. Proficient in financial systems; Sage Line 50 and Xero
14. Able to support system changes and upgrades
15. VAT returns
16. Payroll for c.100 employees (incl. P11Ds)
17. Maintain purchase and sales ledgers
18. Strong double‑entry bookkeeping skills
19. Excellent communication skills
