We are recruiting for a Care Support Assistant to support a young lady for 24 hours per week during the night.
This post is for 2 waking nights each week following a weekly rolling rota.
As part of the role, you will be paid £12.25 per hour.
Main duties of the job
This position operates on a 2:1 staffing ratio. During night shifts, there will be one awake carer and one sleep carer, with sleep shifts scheduled from 8 PM to 8 AM to support the client with her complex health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting a young lady with Autism during the night.
* Assisting with non-invasive ventilation while she sleeps.
* Managing and monitoring her epilepsy and seizures.
* Participating in an on-call rota every fourth week, with a flat rate of £50, to cover any unfilled shifts due to sickness or leave.
