What this job involves: As a Car Parking Attendant at JLL, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service in our parking facilities across our Rolls-Royce contract at Raynesway, Derby. You'll be the face of JLL, greeting clients and visitors with a warm smile while efficiently managing vehicle flow and maintaining a safe parking environment.
What Your Day-to-day Will Look Like
* Monitor and control vehicle access to designated JLL-managed parking facilities
* Issue parking permits and collect fees where applicable
* Provide clear directions and parking assistance to tenants and visitors
* Maintain security and safety within the car park
* Conduct regular patrols of the parking facility
* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve parking-related issues professionally
* Ensure parking regulations are followed and take appropriate action when necessary
* Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns through proper channels
* Assist with basic maintenance tasks and ensure parking areas remain clean and presentable
* Liaise with property management teams regarding any operational issues
* Able to work as part of a Team or on own when required.
Required Qualifications
* Valid UK driving licence preferred
* Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanour
* Strong communication abilities
* Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout shifts
* Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required
* Understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to parking facilities
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in parking operations or customer service roles in the UK
* Knowledge of UK traffic laws and local council parking regulations
* Experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving
* Proficiency in using mobile devices and basic computer applications
