Factory Manager
Alexander Steele is recruiting for an experienced Factory Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Leicestershire. The successful candidate will be a key member of the SLT for site whilst operating closely with the senior group personnel. You will oversee the site operations whilst working closely with cross-functional teams to meet the group standards.

• Paying circa £75,000 (d.o.e) • Monday – Friday (flexibility with working hours) • Company pension • Life assurance x4 base salary
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all manufacturing operations including production, planning, technical, engineering and loading. • Act a key member of the SLT, assisting on all operational related matters on group level. • Ensuring all sites are complying with industry regulations and customer requirements. • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Background Experience:
• 6+ years of experience in operational management roles in a food processing environment. • Strong people management skills – dealing with direct reports • Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, operations, or related field preferred. • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. • Familiarity with HACCP, BRC, GMP, and other relevant food industry standards.
