Salary : up to £30,000 depending on experience

Hours:
Full-time | Monday-Thursday: 9am-5pm, Friday: 9am-4pm

Main Responsibilities Include:
Purchasing & Supplier Coordination
Raise and manage purchase orders.
Assist in maintaining supplier relationships to ensure quality, competitiveness, and reliability.
Support supplier performance reviews, including analysis of lead times, service levels, and product quality.
Stock & Inventory Control
Monitor inventory and initiate reorders based on sales trends and stock thresholds.
Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate incoming deliveries.
Cost & Contract Administration
Review and verify supplier quotations before purchase order approval.
Help maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Provide regular updates on product availability, delivery times, and potential supply issues.
Data Management & Reporting
Keep procurement systems and CRM databases updated with accurate, real-time information.
Contribute to reports on stock movement, order tracking, and supplier performance.
Share relevant procurement information with internal departments such as sales, finance, and operations.
Sustainability & Compliance
Support the company's sustainability goals by considering environmental and ethical factors in purchasing decisions.
The Ideal Candidate:
Well-organised with strong administrative capabilities.
Confident communicator, able to interact effectively with both suppliers and internal teams.
Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems is beneficial but not essential (training provided).
Qualifications & Experience
Ideally 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (not essential).
Basic understanding of purchasing and inventory management processes.
