Job Description Job title: Commercial Account Handler Salary: £40,000 Location: Kent PURPOSE OF ROLE To provide broking and technical support within the Commercial department, ensuring accurate documentation and delivering timely, compliant service. The role is full-time and office-based, supporting customers with insurance advice and risk management. RESPONSIBILITIES Negotiate terms with underwriters Handle and assist with commercial claims Produce accurate, compliant documentation Ensure adherence to internal procedures and FCA regulations Provide tailored insurance advice Maintain professional competence through training Carry out additional tasks as required DAY-TO-DAY Liaise with customers to assess and meet insurance needs Prepare and issue policies, renewals, and endorsement Communicate with underwriters to secure terms Resolve customer queries efficiently Support claims by coordinating with insurers and clients Maintain professional and ethical standards EXPERIENCE Knowledge of the insurance industry Understanding of liability and property insurance Previous experience in commercial insurance handling SKILLS Strong written and verbal communication Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools Confident in client presentations Customer-focused with strong product-matching skills Analytical and detail oriented Professional with a responsible approach to information handling If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact me now on 07458 162 848 or email us at admin@lawesgroup.co.uk
