This role involves providing day-to-day support, promoting independence, and offering companionship to a gentleman with diverse interests and a passion for life.
Main duties of the job
As a Male Live-In Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping the client maintain his independence, assisting with daily routines, and offering companionship that truly makes a difference. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, mobility support, and medication assistance, as well as encouraging engagement in hobbies, social activities, and community life. You will also offer companionship, reassurance, and a listening ear, while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the wider team.

About the Role We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and proactive Male Live-In Support Worker to join our team supporting a gentleman in Okehampton. You'll play a key role in helping him maintain his independence, assisting with daily routines, and offering companionship that truly makes a difference.
About the Client He's passionate about life and enjoys: Motorbikes & motorbike racing Farming, fishing & country life Sports such as snooker, squash, badminton & darts (and watching them for hours) Music & socialising with friends Sharing stories about his adventures and life experiences
He values good company and appreciates support from someone who's genuinely interested in his hobbies and easy to talk to.
Key Responsibilities
