CMA is delighted to be working with our client who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.
This is a cricial position within the finance function, working closely with the CFO and Head of FP&A across a broad range of financial activities including management reporting, cash flow forecasting, and general accounting. The successful candidate will be technically astute, detail-oriented, and proactive, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations across the business.
What will the Management Accountant role involve?
Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and financial forecasts
Managing key responsibilities including reconciliations, VAT returns, and regulatory submissions
Overseeing accounts payable and supporting receivables to maintain strong financial control
Preparing cash flow forecasts and financial analysis to support strategic decision making
Assisting with year-end processes, audit preparation, and continuous improvement of financial procedures
Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:
AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qualified
Experience in end to end management accounting or bookkeeping
Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE, and financial reporting
Confident Excel skills and confident using accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
Highly organised, proactive, and detail-orientated
