Overview This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced food production environment. It’s an entry-level position with full training provided, offering the chance to learn new skills, develop your career, and play an important part in producing and packing high-quality food products. What You’ll Do Operate and monitor machinery on production lines Pack finished products and prepare them for distribution Maintain excellent hygiene and quality standards Report any issues to supervisors Follow all procedures, food hygiene rules, and Health & Safety regulations Support team members and work positively within the team Carry out additional tasks as requested by supervisors or managers About You Good attention to detail and basic numeracy skills Flexible, proactive, and able to work varying shifts Strong team player with good communication skills Physically fit – the role involves manual handling Willing to complete Level 2 Food Safety training (provided) Desirable: Experience in food production or manufacturing Training & Progression You’ll receive full training, including COSHH and Level 2 Food Safety within your first year. There are clear opportunities to progress into roles such as: Trainee Machine Operator Process Operator Laboratory Team Hygiene Team Most operatives also complete a PPT test as part of their training. Additional Information Due to food hygiene rules, only a plain wedding band can be worn. No jewellery, makeup, or strong fragrances are allowed in production areas. Applicants must have reliable transport or live locally, as public transport does not match shift start times (typically 06:00 or 14:00). Hours of Work: Split week rotation AM - 06:00am - 14:00pm PM - 14:00pm - 22:00pm Weekend availbility is a must Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour.
