Hours: Varied hours: MRI are long days 8am-8pm. Ultrasound and clinics are between 8.30am-18.30pm.

Due to expansion of our services we are seeking Bank Healthcare Assistants/Radiography assistants to join the dedicated team here at Managed Healthcare Services Limited. The role will be to provide compassionate care and support to patients having diagnostic images such as MRIs and Ultrasounds in a hospital setting. You will also be required to assist in our other clinics for example: Vasectomy, Dermatology, Rheumatology and Manometry. For those with previous HCA/RDA experience this an exciting opportunity to further develop core skills and consolidate previous experiences gained, working with a respected independent sector healthcare services provider. For those new to the role training can be provided. You will be working in a challenging area amongst a multidisciplinary team with the support of senior staff delivering outcome driven care to a high standard. This is a BANK position and an in-person post.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:

* A general healthcare background / training; Healthcare assistant or RDA experience preferred but not essential.
* Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used.
* Demonstratable right to work in the UK.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Satisfactory Enhanced DBS Certification.
* NHS Experience preferred but not essential.
* Completed the Care Certificate or equivalent qualification.
* Be able to provide 2 satisfactory professional references
Duties of this role include:
* To actively participate in the efficient and safe operation of the Imaging Department/Clinics aiding the team to provide a consistent, high-quality service to all patients and visitors.
* Assist patients throughout their time within the department. This could include helping them physically, emotionally or with any paperwork they may need to complete.
* Assisting, when required with IT system work.
* Practice good clinical safety and observe Local Rules and Systems of Work.
* Attend clinical examinations for the purposes of chaperoning and assisting patients.
