Global Gaming and Technology Organisation seeks an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their London based team on a temporary assignment. The Assistant Accountant would require monthly and year-end close experience. Have strong attention to detail and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team. This is a dynamic environment and would suit a candidate who has previously worked in the Gaming or Technology sector. Duties of the Assistant Accountant include: Handling of primary accounting documents including invoices and bank statements. Maintaining of accurate records of financial transactions in the ERP system. AP cycle management: record invoices, prepare payments and reconciliations. Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to banking, customer, vendor, and accruals. Travel reports and personal expenses' reimbursement. Month-end close: prepare the trial balance and other material for the monthly closing of the company books. Participation in the preparation of the tax returns and financial reports. Assistance with respect to the company's statutory and tax audits Working in tandem with the company's finance team members. Requirements for the Assistant Accountant include: Level 4 AAT Qualification (AAT Professional Diploma). At least 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the gaming industry. Proven experience in monthly and year-end closing Experience in 'Priority' an advantage or ERP system experience Excellent written and spoken English. Experience in Excel Well organised, motivated, with the ability to work with limited supervision. Hybrid working
