We are seeking a Finance Clerk for a central Bristol based law firm Your new company BS1 based law firm Your new role Completing reconciliations for bank accounts in multiple currencies. Posting bank transactions and journals. Scanning and processing purchase ledger invoices onto accounting software. Aiding the purchase ledger team by requesting copy invoices. Reconciling statements received from associates and suppliers. Managing accounts email inbox and distributing accounts post. Sending out sales ledger copy invoices per client requests. Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the Accounts team as required. Any other duties where necessary to ensure the needs of the business are met. What you'll need to succeed A minimum of 5 GCSEs including a Level 5 or above (equivalent to grade C or above) in Mathematics and English. Excellent organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Attention to detail and pride in work product. Ability to balance and prioritise workload, remain composed and level-headed during periods of particularly busy activity, and being proactive in helping other members of the team. Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of internal and external contacts. Ability to work individually and as a team.
