BHC is one of the UK’s leading Structural Steel Fabrication and Construction companies supplying and erecting fabricated steel nationwide within the UK and Ireland.
We are seeking to recruit a creative and driven Assistant Marketing Co-ordinator, who is ready to learn, grow, and make a real impact. The role would suit a recent graduate or someone with early career experience who is eager to develop their skills and help shape our brand.
The successful candidate will play an important part in supporting our marketing activities, assisting with campaigns, and helping communicate our message both internally and externally.
Duties will include:
* Create engaging content including graphics, videos, and interactive media.
* Develop marketing materials and promotional campaigns across the business.
* Create SEO/web optimised content for the two BHC websites.
* Manage BHC’s social media strategy and channels to promote BHC.
* Reviewing web-based software for potential contracts that meet specified criteria.
* Plan, prepare and publish marketing materials to promote the brand.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments and source data for submissions and internal and external marketing purposes.
* Prepare and maintain marketing material, including presentations, organisational charts, CVs, and Case studies.
* Contact potential clients to request inclusion on their tender lists.
* Support trade shows and events (including our annual apprentice open day).
* Any other tasks required to support the Business Development Managers and Other Departments.
* Assist /collate PQQ and tender submissions.
* Monitor and report on marketing performance using analytics.
* Co-ordinate with external suppliers for branding, advertising, and promotional materials.
* Assist with internal communications, including company newsletters and employee updates.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Copy writing ability would be advantageous.
* Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Photoshop & WordPress.
* Understanding of SEO, and the ability to interpret analytics would be beneficial.
* B2B & B2C marketing experience would be desirable.
The successful candidate will be a motivated and detail-focused team player, with strong communication, problem solving, and organisational skills. A keen eye for detail, who can work confidently under pressure and independently.
Candidates should hold a degree in marketing, communications, business, or related discipline, and although one year’s experience in a similar role would be advantageous, we also welcome motivated, creative, and enthusiastic graduates who are eager to further their career in Marketing.
Excellent planning, organisational, and time managements skills are essential, and experience within a construction environment would be advantageous.
