What You Will Do As a Head Chef
* Responsible for managing food costs in accordance with budget & the hotel business plan.
* To supervise colleagues within the department, making sure that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the Departmental Operations Manual.
* To train, coach & mentor culinary colleagues to make sure that they have the skills necessary to perform their duties in the most productive way, ensuring maximum colleague engagement.
* To be knowledgeable of seasonal and new products on the market.
* To maximize colleague productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling in order to meet the financial goals of the Department as well as the expectations of all people we serve.
About You
You will have proven experience as a Head Chef in a hotel or high-volume kitchen. A skilled culinary professional, you bring strong leadership and organizational abilities, along with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
