Vision for Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEND provision in the Cheltenham area to recruit a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant. This SEN Learning Support Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting children and young people with complex additional needs in a structured, nurturing environment.
We are looking for a committed SEN Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them to access learning, build confidence, and develop independence.
About the Role - SEN Learning Support Assistant
As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs including autism, SEMH, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities.
In this SEN Learning Support Assistant role, you will:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support
2. Assist pupils with emotional regulation and communication
3. Support engagement in learning activities
4. Help build positive routines and independence
5. Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff

17. Comes from a background in care, youth work, coaching, or support work (desirable but not essential)
