The premier design consultancy in Manchester right now are currently on the look for a Senior Structural Engineer.
They are an award winning medium sized practice with an emphasis on technically challenging projects - with the added bonus that they've diversified across so many sectors that they're frankly recession proof!
They work on genuinely fascinating (and award winning) projects; I've placed multiple people with this business who have told me that moving there has reignited their passion for engineering again.
Contributions towards professional development memberships and exams.
A genuinely flexible WFH scheme (flexi-hours and hybrid working).
Then to top it all off, they've recently hired an in-house chef and provide weekly yoga classes (it's the little things).
The ideal candidate:
A Manchester (or surrounding area) based Senior Structural Engineer with at least 5 years of experience working in the UK.
Able to design structural elements in all the common building materials (i.e., steel, concrete, masonry and timber) using hand and approved design software such as Tedds, Tekla Structures and ideally SCIA Engineer.
Experience working on a variety of projects types including new build, refurbishment, residential, commercial etc.
MEng or MSc from a top UK university.
A reminder of what my client can offer you:
- UNRIVALLED benefits package/social scene.
- Award winning projects (as in they win awards literally every year).
- Market leader in the reuse of materials and sustainability.
- Guaranteed bonus scheme - none of this discretionary nonsense.
- Free lunch (this is a great extra, I don't care what anyone else says)
If this sounds like an opportunity you'd be interested in hearing more about then please apply and I will be in touch as soon as possible
