Lecturer in Engineering within the Apprenticeship department.
21.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Salary: £20,130 - £24,043 per annum pro rata; £33,550 - £40,073 per annum.
Responsibilities and role
We are looking for someone passionate about the Engineering industry with experience of teaching and assessing for the next generation of Engineering Apprentices. This is a field in demand and a growth area for CCN Apprenticeships. We are seeking a 0.6 (3 days per week) Lecturer to join a team who deliver, assess and ideally IQA for Engineering apprentices. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who have recent experience in Fluid Power and have a minimum of 3 years work experience in this sector with a Level 3 Engineering qualification or higher.
Qualifications and skills
You must be a confident communicator who is people focused and able to build relationships quickly. Good levels of literacy and numeracy are essential, as well as strong IT skills and self-reliance.
Desirable qualifications
In addition to your engineering qualifications, an Assessor Award or Teaching Qualification and/or IQA qualification is desirable, but if you do not have a teaching or assessing qualification, this is something we can offer as part of your development.
