Job Description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to join our team. The Stock Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's inventory, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established procedures. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock movements to optimize availability and minimize excess or obsolete inventory. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of incoming goods and accurate documentation. Generate reports on inventory status, including stock levels, turnover rates, and aging stock, to support decision-making processes. Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the inventory management system. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address stock-related issues and optimize inventory management practices. Requirements: Proven experience in inventory management or stock control roles. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools/software. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels. Knowledge of inventory management software/systems is a plus.
