Main duties of the job An exciting opportunity has arisen to join UHS Maternity Services E-Rostering Team. As an E-Rostering Administrator you will be required to create and update electronic rosters for all teams within the Maternity Service. This role promises to provide a broad overview of the principles and practices associated with good E-Rostering and safe staffing. The Maternity E-Roster Team comprises a small team of staff members who are skilled in both the creation and maintenance of rosters for all employees working within UHS Maternity Services. As a fluid and transient maternity system, with clinical situations that remain unpredictable, the members of the E-Roster Team must be responsive and adaptable to staffing requirements that are ever changing. As such, the role demands E-Roster Team members to be both adaptable and flexible to service needs, however the benefits of such will guarantee a real sense of team working and achieving positive outcomes. What You’ll Do Detailed job description and main responsibilities Creation of rosters for specific staff groups under the supervision of the E-Rostering Lead. Ensuring staff are rostered shifts in a fair and equitable way, observing individual flexible working arrangements. Adaptation of rosters that accurately reflect any alterations to daily staffing requirements. Ensure that rosters are completed in a timely way to allow the release of rosters within a given timeframe. The successful candidate will be required to have the following experience/skills: Excellent communication skills, particularly in respect of conflict resolution. Flexibility and adaptability within an ever-changing situation. Administration experience. Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365. Personal resilience and professional integrity.
