Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Assistant to help lead the daily operations of our warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient warehouse processes that align with our commitment to quality and service excellence. Key Responsibilities
* Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Manage the receipt, inspection, and storage of inbound and outbound stock with full traceability.
* Maintain and update the warehouse management system to ensure accurate stock data.
* Handle materials with care during stocking and storage.
* Execute picking and packing of orders accurately.
* Load and unload shipments while adhering to safety protocols.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve warehouse productivity, accuracy, and overall performance.
* Work closely with the office team to ensure efficient planning and coordination of shipments.
* Ensure the warehouse is always clean, well-organised, and safe.
* Oversee waste management and recycling procedures to maintain a hazard-free environment.

Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or similar role
* Strong knowledge of computer systems and supply chain processes.
* Forklift certification
* Full UK Driving licence
* Ability to drive and operate delivery vehicles safely
* Excellent communication skills.

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year
