An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award-winning value retailer as a Womenswear Senior Buyer within their Dresses & Wovens department. This role is perfect for a trend-focused and commercially driven individual who can bring fresh ideas, drive celebrity ranges, and create innovative collections that resonate with the brand’s customers.
As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for:
1. Developing and delivering commercially balanced ranges while meeting margin targets.
2. Leading the creation of trend-driven collections, ensuring consistency across categories in terms of colours, looks, and key styles.
3. Managing the product sign-off process, ensuring everything is aligned with the critical path and business timelines.
4. Building and maintaining strong global supplier relationships, negotiating effectively to maximise profitability.
5. Monitoring performance and identifying emerging trends, using insights to shape future product ranges.
6. Collaborating with merchandising to manage stock levels and ensure financial objectives are met.
A strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and print is essential, along with experience in developing fashion-forward collections. The ideal Senior Buyer will have a passion for trends and newness, as well as excellent negotiation skills and the ability to drive commercially successful product ranges.
