Overview
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and hard-working Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our outdoor maintenance team. You'll be responsible for maintaining parks, green spaces, public areas, and commercial grounds to a high standard. This is a hands-on role that involves early starts and working in all weather conditions, so a strong work ethic and reliability are key.
Responsibilities
* Grass cutting using mowers and strimmers
* Hedge trimming and pruning
* Leaf clearance and litter picking
* Weeding, planting, and basic landscaping
* Use of hand tools and powered equipment
* Ensuring grounds are clean, tidy, and safe
* Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
* Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or gardening is desirable
* Basic knowledge of tools and machinery
* Driving licence is essential as will be using company vehicles
