We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school in Bexley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real difference in their educational journey.
Role Overview:
As an Intervention Teaching Assistant, you will work mainly across KS1 and KS2, delivering targeted learning interventions in Maths, English, and Reading. You will provide support to both small groups and individual pupils, helping them to close learning gaps, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
·Delivering structured learning interventions in Maths, English, and Reading.
·Supporting teachers in planning and assessing interventions to track pupil progress.
·Working with small groups and one-to-one to provide focused support.
·Contributing to the creation of resources to enhance learning outcomes.
·Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and reporting to teaching staff.
Essential Skills and Qualities:
·Experience supporting learning interventions in primary education.
·Strong communication skills with children and colleagues.
·Patience, flexibility, and a positive approach to working with pupils of varying abilities.
·Commitment to promoting the school’s ethos and supporting all aspects of pupil development.
