Role: Warehouse Operative & Administrator Location: Halifax Salary: £24,500 - £27,000 per year Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon to Fri - Ideally 9am - 5.30pm but flexibility may be on offer Our Role: Our Halifax based client is a forward thinking leader in their field. They are currently seeking a confident, proactive Warehouse Operative & Administrator to work at their Halifax site. You will provide both warehouse and administrative support in a busy day to day environment, working closely with a wider team but at times work totally independently to manage delivery of products against strict timeframes. Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative & Administrator role: Track and manage orders, deliveries and stock levels. Keep the warehouse organised, safe and easy to navigate. Pick, pack and prepare items for dispatch. Produce basic dispatch documents and ensure accurate labelling. Allocate and store all items correctly. Follow logistics plans to ensure on time, accurate deliveries. Complete monthly stock checks. Handle returns and organise replacements where needed. Organise movement of goods between company sites when required. Maintain quality standards and flag any cost saving opportunities. Provide light admin support, including simple order pricing and supplier coordination and coordination with finance. Skills / Experience required for the Warehouse Operative & Administrator: Prior warehouse experience - desirable Physically able to comfortably lift products in warehouse setting Strong ability in administration Confident, reliable self starter required IT literate High level of attention to detail Willingness to learn Happy to work alone at times What our client offers: Salary: £24,500 - £27,000 per year 30 days holiday - pro rata - including bank holidays Your birthday off Annual company events Other great perks!
