Aerospace R&T Manufacturing EngineerCertain Advantage is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer based in the Filton area.This role is on a contract basis and is site-based.The CompanyWe’re working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and a separate Space and Defence division.Does this sound like your next career move?If you’re ambitious to grow, this may be your next role?The Role:This role is for an Aerospace R&T Manufacturing Engineer—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You’ll be results-oriented and driven to succeed.You’ll be working in a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
* Development and delivery of an industrial plan for wing research.
* Working with the jigs and tooling team, and component suppliers.
* Generation and validation of manufacturing capability documentation.
* Working across the design and manufacturing.
The Individual We’re looking for people who can show:
* Manufacturing engineering or production environment and familiarity with production processes.
* Aerospace structures (understanding the key structural components and manufacturing techniques associated with aircraft wings)
* CAD tools, specifically CATIA V5
