Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality child protection services as part of Calderdale Council’s Children’s Services.
* Carry out risk assessments and develop care plans in accordance with statutory requirements.
* Support children and families, maintain low caseloads, and engage with partners to promote wellbeing.
* Participate in reflective supervision and contribute to learning and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Qualified social worker (BA/DipSW/CQSW or equivalent) registered with Social Work England.
* Experience in statutory children and family services.
* Full, valid driving licence; willingness to travel within the local area.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
* DBS check required for exempt posts.
