We are looking for a Delivery Project Manager to join our fast-paced Transformation team within our Technology function. You’ll play a key leadership role in delivering a major release within the programme. This will be a hands-on role including planning across multiple deliverables, governance, coordination, and working effectively with our strategic platform provider.
Transformation is a large-scale and complex programme of work, already in progress, and you’ll need to be able to ‘hit the ground running’. This is an exciting and varied role and a great opportunity to contribute to the transformation of the Nucleus platform as we aim to become ‘best loved’ in the marketplace.
Key Accountabilities
1. Managing and delivering complex scope within the Transformation programme across the full development lifecycle.
2. Managing and influencing stakeholders across the business at all levels.
3. Identifying skills and resources needed for project delivery.
4. Managing third parties to meet their commitments.
5. Ensuring full compliance with project governance, reporting, and tracking.
6. Defining the delivery scope appropriately, employing techniques for scope traceability.
7. Monitoring progress against project plans to ensure timely, within-budget, and quality outputs.
8. Engaging with assurance reviews and implementing review recommendations.
9. Managing risks, issues, and resources to meet milestone dates.
10. Managing project scope and applying change management processes as needed.
11. Reporting project progress in line with organisational policies and responding promptly to information requests.
12. Establishing teams in consultation with other parts of the organisation to ensure efficient delivery, setting objectives, and managing responsibilities within a matrix environment.
13. Communicating regularly with stakeholders and sponsors.
14. Managing stakeholder expectations on timelines and outputs.
15. Collaborating with third-party partners, especially FNZ, to ensure successful platform implementation and supporting documentation.
16. Coordinating activities among program teams, internal departments, clients, and vendors to meet program goals.
17. Using suitable methods and lifecycles, including coaching business teams and less experienced colleagues.
18. Mentoring and developing other members of the change team.

Preferred qualifications include:
* Proven delivery within large-scale Change/Transformation programmes
* Experience in wealth management and pensions industry
* Understanding of IT systems within a Financial Services platform environment
* Experience working with outsourced partners and providers
* Project planning experience for complex deliveries
* Ability to work under pressure and manage solutions during difficult situations
* Change delivery experience within Financial Services industry
