Engineering Manager
to lead and scale our product teams as we reimagine how pet owners and clinics connect. As part of our central technology team, you’ll help shape the tools and platforms that support more than 2,500 veterinary practices across 20 countries. The Role As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a cross-functional team focused on the early stages of the customer journey — building systems to support digital sign-up, communications preferences, and repeat tasks via our in-house app. You will: Lead, inspire, and grow a team of 5–8 engineers in a cloud-native product environment Drive technical decisions and architecture discussions in partnership with architects, DevOps, and QA Collaborate with your Product Manager to deliver solutions that align to KPIs and business goals Mentor and coach engineers, supporting both personal development and technical excellence Champion quality-focused development practices, including automated testing and iterative delivery Help define and embed agile processes across your team and with other Engineering Managers Build modern digital experiences using .NET, React.js, and AWS Occasionally travel to team locations such as London, Belgrade, and Sofia to foster stronger collaboration What You’ll Bring We’re looking for a supportive and technically capable leader with a strong understanding of modern software delivery. You should bring: Proven experience leading cross-functional product teams in a fast-paced, agile environment Strong technical background with .NET, React, and cloud-native architectures (preferably AWS) Familiarity with microservices, event-driven systems, and serverless technologies An open, inquisitive mindset and willingness to challenge and improve the status quo Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A passion for team culture, mentoring, and continuous improvement At IVC Evidensia, we invest in your wellbeing, development, and work-life balance.
