A leading organisation within the healthcare and wellbeing sector is seeking an experienced Technical Programme Manager to oversee a large-scale technology transformation programme. This role will lead the delivery of a multi-year platform modernisation initiative within a complex, regulated environment.
You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional engineering teams, external vendors, and offshore resources to deliver a roadmap of platform improvements and digital service enhancements. The role requires balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery management to ensure programmes progress at pace while maintaining operational stability.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of a multi-year platform modernisation and digital transformation programme
* Manage a team of engineers alongside third-party vendors and offshore delivery partners
* Establish and optimise delivery frameworks (e.g. Agile, SAFe) suited to programme needs
* Coordinate complex, multi-vendor initiatives and manage cross-team dependencies
* Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and performance reporting to stakeholders
* Align programme objectives across business units and manage resource constraints
* Support vendor management, technical decision-making, and regulatory compliance
* Remove blockers and drive continuous improvement to maintain high delivery velocity
Requirements
* Proven experience delivering large-scale technology or operational transformation programmes
* Background working within complex or regulated industries
* Experience managing multi-vendor environments and distributed teams
* Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness
* Knowledge of automation platforms, AI-enabled tools, or workflow orchestration technologies
* Ability to deliver measurable operational improvements and embed sustainable change
