Pentland Ferries have a vacancy for an Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW) – Unlimited
This is a permanent position based on an even time rota of three weeks on/off.
A competitive salary and a workplace pension are available. (Details can be provided to suitable candidates on request), and have the right to work in the UK.
Applicants must hold a valid ENG1 Medical Certificate and be trained to STCW Basic standard in – Personal Survival Techniques, PSSR, Elementary First Aid, Fire Prevention and Firefighting.
It would be an advantage to hold the following certificates (but not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate)- Designated Security Duties, and all relevant Passenger ship certificates. It would also be beneficial if the candidate held an endorsed 2nd Engineers up to 3000kW certificate.
