Warehouse Operations Manager
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our well-established client based in Birmingham, West Midlands, on a full-time permanent basis.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
• Leading and developing the warehouse team through structured training and ongoing development, ensuring strong skills coverage, safety, and employee wellbeing
• Taking full ownership of stock management, including space allocation, stock transfers, and non-conforming product
• Working closely with the Purchasing team to maintain appropriate stock levels and smooth operational flow
• Planning and managing cycle counts and stock takes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Ensuring all internal stock movements are accurately recorded
• Maintaining strict control of warehouse documentation and administration
• Championing a customer-focused, right-first-time culture
• Maintaining high standards of product quality and service
• Monitoring and improving incoming goods and finished product inspection processes
• Managing supplier quality processes and resolving issues promptly
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
• Implementing and promoting Health & Safety policies and safe working practices
• Supporting customer visits and on-site training
• Acting as a key holder when required
Essential Experience
• Proven experience managing warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment
• Strong people management and leadership skills
• Solid understanding of stock control and inventory accuracy
• Hands-on experience across goods in, storage, and dispatch
• Strong quality and compliance focus
