Job Description
Are you an experienced Executive Assistant ready to bring your organisational skills and leadership support to a dynamic role? Join the Shire of Derby West Kimberley as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Community Planning—a key position that combines administrative coordination with meaningful community and governance impact.
Why this role is unique: This position offers the chance to work closely with the Director and senior leadership to drive community planning initiatives tailored to Derby West Kimberley's needs. You will manage complex priorities, support council processes, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders including local communities, government agencies, and contractors. Your proactive approach and leadership in administration will be vital to our success.

* Current satisfactory National Police Clearance.
* Experience in local government, understanding legislation and governance.
* Experience working in regional or remote communities.
* Experience preparing grant applications or similar documents.
* Relevant qualification in business administration, governance, or related fields, or significant experience.
