At Arco, we are seeking a talented and experienced National Key Account Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service while maximizing revenue.
About The Role
As a National Account Manager, you will take ownership of one of our national accounts in the North West of England, with revenue around £7 million. Your key responsibilities will include delivering budgets, creating detailed Account Plans, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maximize effectiveness.
Due to the location of the customer's sites, you must be a commutable distance from the North West of England, ideally around Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Merseyside, or the surrounding counties.
Key responsibilities:
1. Completing detailed Account Plans and coordinating input from all stakeholders to ensure maximum effectiveness.
2. Using Account Plans to deliver a best-in-class service proposition focused on revenue-generating activities.
3. Developing strong customer relationships with multiple contacts to maximize delivery of the full Arco proposition.
4. Defining and executing the Business sales strategy to deliver profitable growth and maximum return.
5. Utilizing sales methodologies to prospect and successfully acquire new business opportunities.
6. Driving personal development to become an expert in strategic accounts and sector knowledge.

The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in national account management, sales, and profit growth
* Strong negotiation skills for complex corporate accounts
* Understanding of key account relationship drivers and value propositions
* Knowledge of market and competition
* Ability to analyze sales and P&L data to inform strategies
* Excellent presentation skills for large audiences
* Experience in delivering results through matrix management
* High adaptability in sales approaches (e.g., Challenger Sales)
* Good knowledge of Arco’s products, services, and sector
