Lakeland Commercials Kirkby Stephen is looking for:
A vehicle technician to help with a mixed fleet of PSVs and HGVs. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with either vehicle type, but not essential.
Relevant training will be provided for necessary qualifications.
Hours: 8:00am - 17:00pm Mon to Fri + Alternative Sat morning.
Candidate must be willing to help with School Transport. (Core function of the site)
Responsibilities:
Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs under supervision.
Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and machinery.
Help in the disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Follow safety protocols while working with machinery and tools.
Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn best practices and improve skills.
