Job Description
3. Lead all financial reporting and period-end processes for this division.
4. Ensure timely, accurate production of management accounts, KPI reports, and variance analysis with clear insights.
5. Work with senior finance and business leaders to prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans aligned with commercial and operational goals.
6. Provide detailed financial analysis on sales, margin, and costs to support and challenge business performance.
7. Maintain and improve financial controls and systems to reduce risk and support business needs.
8. Oversee revenue recognition and third-party invoicing, supporting Credit Control with debt collection.
9. Manage Retail and channel balance sheet items, ensuring accuracy of stock, debtors, accruals, intercompany and other key accounts.
10. Support external audit processes for relevant business areas.
11. Deliver additional reporting, analysis, or support as required.
The Successful Applicant
12. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
13. Strong background in management accounting within the retail or manufacturing industry.
14. Proficiency in financial systems and software applications.
15. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
16. Capability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
17. Proven ability to communicate financial insights effectively to stakeholders.
