The Role
Reporting to the Finance Controller, the Assistant Accountant will support the effective delivery of financial controls, reporting, and transactional finance activities across the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
* Supporting the preparation of management accounts
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Processing and reviewing purchase and sales ledger transactions
* Assisting with cashflow monitoring and forecasting
* Supporting internal and external audit requirements
* Ensuring compliance with company financial procedures and controls
