The role:
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, and assisting with audits. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a variety of clients and sectors, with opportunities to develop technical expertise and take on more responsibility over time.
Your key responsibilities as a Semi-Senior Accountant or a Senior Accountant will include:
1. Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients.
2. Supporting audits and client engagements.
3. Assisting with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and VAT returns.
4. Reviewing the work of junior staff (for senior level).
5. Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
The ideal Semi-Senior Accountant or Senior Accountant will have:
6. ACA/ACCA qualified (or part-qualified for semi-senior level).
7. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in practice accounting, including accounts preparation and audits.
8. Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
9. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
10. A proactive and client-focused approach.
