National Account Manager role at Fox's Burton's Companies (FBC) UK. This position is based in St Albans, GB with remote working options.

The Role
The purpose of the role is to deliver budgeted Vol, Revenue & Margin in designated customers through execution of business plans focusing on core range, NPD listings and activation, filling distribution gaps and promotional activity. The role is accountable for negotiating mutually beneficial business plans with key customers to help deliver the above. This role involves broad cross-functional interaction with Category, Marketing, Commercial Finance, Demand Planning and Customer Services.
Main Responsibilities
* Deliver budgeted financials across Brand and Retailer Own Brand.
* Develop compelling business plans for assigned Customers.
* Negotiate all JBPs and CPIs within agreed boundaries.
* Accountable for the full P&L for designated Customers.
* Carefully and judiciously manage all trade spend to ensure full ROI.
* Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annually.
* Accurately manage the internal setup of all customer prices and terms.
* Document and control key account communication – pricing, promotions, range, coordination of category work where applicable.
* Lead range review negotiations with the support of the Category Manager.
* Post-analysis of activity and communication of relevant insights.
* Be the internal face of designated customers, ensuring each department understands what is important.
* Report weekly performance against budget, targets and forecast with variance analysis.
* Handle relevant account administration.
* Plan and execute account marketing spend.
* Engage in cross-functional projects internally and with external partners.
* Be empowered to make day-to-day account decisions within boundaries.
* Collaborate with the Controller to develop a 2-3 year growth strategy for the customer and channel.
Who We Are Looking For
* Experience in managing food retailer accounts (preferably in an Account Manager or similar role).
* Uses Category insights to create a compelling selling story and conduct reviews.
* Managed the full P&L.
* Good understanding of Retailer Brand management within the Grocery channel (advantageous).
* Experience of wholesale & convenience markets and price-marking strategies (preferable).
