Cover & Examinations Officer - 392 Weeks/year Location: North London Hours: 36 per week (with flexibility during exam periods) Monday to Friday Salary: £44,884 - £48,207 (FTE) £41,086 - £44,127 (pro rata) Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Cover & Examinations Officer to join their team. This pivotal role is responsible for coordinating daily staff absence cover, as well as managing the full administration and delivery of both internal and external examinations in line with awarding body regulations. Key Responsibilities: Organising daily supply cover for teaching staff and maintaining absence records. Liaising with staff, agencies, and senior leaders to ensure effective cover arrangements. Managing all aspects of external examinations, including entries, timetables, access arrangements, and results. Coordinating internal examinations and assessments. Recruiting, training, and managing invigilators. Ensuring compliance with exam regulations and safeguarding procedures. About You: Excellent organisational and administrative skills Experience of working as an Examinations Officer. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Confident communicator, able to liaise with staff, students, parents, and external bodies. Experience using SIMS (or similar school management systems) desirable.
