The role
You will support the implementation of data governance frameworks across Pensions & Savings. Being is key to ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal data governance policies, standards, and frameworks.
You will work closely with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and Risk colleagues to gather insights, monitor progress, and produce reporting that supports data quality and governance maturity. Your outputs will directly contribute to informed decision-making and the successful embedding of data governance practices across the business.
You will be responsible for gathering and analysing information to support the implementation of data governance frameworks along with monitoring and tracking actions related to data governance and data quality initiatives. You will produce regular and ad-hoc reports to support data quality monitoring and adherence to Group Data Governance standards along with developing decision and information papers for Data Owners and Data Stewards to support governance activities.
What We’re Looking For
1. Experience in data quality, data governance, or data analysis roles ideally with familiarity with data governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
2. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
3. Experience with data governance tools and technologies such as Collibra, Informatica or Alation
4. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL or Power BI
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly along with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
6. Experience preparing reports, dashboards, or briefing papers for senior stakeholders
