Job Description
Background
We are an established health and safety consultancy based in Glasgow. We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Health and Safety Advisors for an ongoing renewables projects on the Essex Coast and the South West of England.
Role
These short-term contract roles will be site based for approximately 7 - 12 months (MON - FRI 7.30 - 16.30). We require someone with significant experience, knowledge and skills in construction safety, preferably with renewables and / or utilities experience.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities / qualifications:
* A degree in a safety, construction or design related field (preferable)
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum
* CSCS Professionally Qualified card
* SSSTS / SMSTS (preferable)
* Experienced in UK construction safety and / or renewables
* Significant knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations
* Experience of working on site within a busy, customer focused environment
* Able to engage with colleagues and clients at all levels
* Develop strong working relationships
* Pragmatic and can work independently
* Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel as required
* Member of IOSH and APS (preferable)
* Musy have the right to work in the UK
